CLARENCE INSTALLATION & TEAM VISIT 2010 |
The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, Peter Connolly took his team to Clarence Mark lodge No 447 on Monday the 4th October 2010 for the Installation meeting. On this first full team visit of the season he was supported by some 41 Acting Officer and accompanied by 15 Grand Officers. The procession into the lodge was so long it struggled to get through the door. The Installing Master W.Bro Alan Hughes installed his successor Bro William Forest in a terrific ceremony that was a pleasure to witness. It must have reminded our Provincial Grand Master of the time some 36 years ago when he was placed in the same chair in Clarence Mark Lodge. The Worshipful Master presented a £500 cheque to the R.W. Prov.G.M. for Charity. The Ceremony was followed by a superb Festive Board where the visitors were made most welcome and we wish the new Worshipful Master Bro Forest a successful and rewarding year in office. |
